The Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC) is pleased to announce the implementation of a new interim individual reporting process for the Student Evaluation of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys.
The new process enables teaching staff to receive their interim individual reports for units, as early as a week after the SELT surveys close for relevant study period.
In past years, the interim reports for SELT surveys were published for a half-year cycle, i.e. after the release of examinations results for Semester 1 or Semester 2.
The first round of interim reports for 2018 study periods will be for Summer Term and Professional Term 1 units. These reports will be made available from 20 April 2018 to relevant teaching staff (i.e., for surveys with at least five student responses for an individual teacher in a unit).
The reporting process being implemented this year is part of the ongoing improvement of LTC evaluation services. The earlier delivery of interim SELT reports for non-standard study periods could allow timely intervention (e.g., curriculum adjustment) and the enhancement of learning and teaching quality at ACU.
Teaching staff will receive an email notification indicating their SELT report(s) are ready to be viewed, and the email will contain a unique link to access their interim report(s). The reports can also be viewed/downloaded through the ‘Evaluations’ block on the LEO front page.
