The Student Enrichment Unit within the Office of Student Success supports the development of non-sporting clubs and societies across the University. There are more than 40 non-sporting clubs and societies at ACU and more than 150 students hold leadership positions within these clubs.
All non-sporting clubs and societies are established in accordance with the University Guidelines and ongoing training and development is provided to leaders of clubs and societies through the Student Enrichment Unit.
Clubs and societies offered over 210 student events during Semester 1, 2018. These activities have included professional development events, social events and networking opportunities. Clubs Rules provide a formal framework for club governance and club leaders exercise a range of leadership functions to ensure the club meets it’s intended aims and objectives.
A summary of all current Clubs and Societies is accessible via the Student Portal.
