Meet The Conversation’s Fron Jackson-Webb, Senior Health and Medicine Editor and Deputy Chief of Staff, on Tuesday 10 April to find out more about how to share your research with a diverse global audience.
This special one-hour session for ACU researchers will cover how to get your research published in The Conversation - a growing community of more than 63,000 academics and researchers from about 2000 institutions - and share how it influences the daily news cycle.
It will also be an opportunity to hear more about how articles have led to global coverage and book deals. Researchers are encouraged to bring article ideas for feedback on how to ‘pitch’.
The Conversation is an independent source of news and views, sourced from the academic and research community and delivered direct to the public. The Conversation's professional editors work with university, CSIRO and research institute experts to demystify research.
Places are available in the 1pm session to be held in the Sir Bernard Callinan Board Room, Level 8, 250 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
