Library database trial: SAGE research methods and datasets

Published: Wednesday 13th May 2015

The Library already subscribes to SAGE Research Methods Online (SRM), but this trial is for Cases and Datasets, which are new components in the SAGE Research Methods suite of products.

What are SAGE Research Methods Cases?

"SAGE Research Methods Cases (SRMC) is a collection of case studies of real social research that faculty can use in their teaching. Cases are original, specially commissioned, and designed to help students understand often abstract methodological concepts by introducing them to case studies of real research projects."

What are SAGE Research Methods Datasets?

"SAGE Research Methods Datasets (SRMD) is a collection of teaching datasets that can be used to support the teaching and independent learning of quantitative and qualitative analytical methods used in the social sciences. These are datasets taken from larger national and international data sources, cleaned and reduced in size and complexity for teaching and self-study purposes, perfect for researchers learning a new method or brushing up on an old one."

We have SAGE Research Methods Cases & Datasets on trial until 31 August 2015.
