Artistic students needed

Published: Monday 20th October 2014

The ACU Human Research Ethics Committee is establishing a Panel to review research involving Indigenous people.  The Panel will be chaired by Associate Professor Ned Blair and include external Indigenous Researchers.

Do you know of any Indigenous students who might like to design some artwork for us?  The artwork should be easily adaptable for use on our webpage and written material, such as consent forms, information letters, posters etc.  We would like the artwork to express ACU’s commitment to Reconciliation and Respect for Human Dignity and an ethical research culture.

We would be able to provide payment of up to $500 for the artwork.  The artwork would belong to the University and be for the use of the ACU Indigenous Research Ethics Advisory Panel (IREAP) and the Ethics Committee.  The student would be acknowledged as the artist on our webpage.

For more information, please contact Ned Blair (Nerida.Blair@acu.edu.au) or Susanna Gorman (Susanna.Gorman@acu.edu.au).

Closing date for Expressions of interest is Friday 31 October 2014.
