ACU Collaborate Plus offers co-working, workshops and events
Published: Wednesday 10th May 2017
A new co-working space and a series of partnership events and workshops will soon be rolled out as part of stage one of the Collaborate Plus project in North Sydney.
The Collaborate Plus space at 33 Berry Street, North Sydney, is in the final stage of development and is expected to open this month. The space aims to support students, staff, alumni, start-ups and small-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) who are working on innovative projects or business ideas. The co-working space will be trialed until November and will be available free of charge during this time.
Practical business workshops have been planned and will be offered initially by a local not-for profit organization, Realise Business. They will deliver a series of three workshops at ACU’s North Sydney Campus for up to 10 participants per workshop. The cost of these workshops will be covered by the Collaborate Plus project, so there will be no cost to participants, including ACU students. The workshops will focus on the practicalities of starting and growing your own business. The workshops are tentatively scheduled for 20 June, 13 July and 21 August. More information to follow.
In collaboration with North Sydney Innovation Network (NSIN), there will be a series of EdTech events (Educational Technology) delivered at ACU in North Sydney. These events will be at no cost, with the first of these scheduled for 31 May at 6pm and titled Innovation Opportunities in Global Education Markets. Click here to register for this event.
