Join Vice-Chancellor Professor Greg Craven when he appears on the panel of the 2018 Marian Lecture at the North Sydney and Melbourne Campus this month.
The Marian Lecture is an initiative of the Marist Association of St Marcellin Champagnat and this year will focus on the theme: A new generation of the church: In the way of Mary.
The lecture theme was inspired by the writings of Pope Francis in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (EG). The speakers will be reflecting on new paths of justice and tenderness in the Church.
The lecture will be led by His Excellency, Most Reverend Vincent Long, Bishop of Parramatta, and will draw on insights from Professor Craven and Dr Bernadette Tobin, Director of the ACU and St Vincent’s Hospital Plunkett Centre for Ethics.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers during a Q&A session.
Brother David Hall, Dean of the La Salle Academy, will moderate the North Sydney lecture, while Marcelle Mogg, Group Director Mission Integration St John of God Health Care, will moderate the Melbourne event.
When: Tuesday 29 May, 6pm – 7.30pm Where: Ryan Auditorium, North Sydney Campus
