The Rotary Peace Fellowship program fosters the development of well-trained, committed professionals in the areas of national and international cooperation, peace and conflict resolution. Applications are now being sought for these prestigious international scholarships.
About the program
Rotary Peace Centers were established in 2002. Developed from a partnership between The Rotary Foundation and leading universities around the world, the Centers promote national and international cooperation, peace and conflict resolution. Centre partners are:
University of Queensland, Australia
International Christian University, Japan
Uppsala University, Sweden
Chulalongkorn University, Thailand
University of Bradford, UK
Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA
Rotary Peace Fellows are selected through a world-wide, competitive process. Fellows can undertake master’s degree studies in international relations, sustainable development, peace studies, or conflict resolution, at one of the six international (non-Australian) Rotary Peace Centers, or earn a professional development certificate in peace and conflict studies through a three-month program at Chulalongkorn University.
Up to 100 fellowships are awarded annually. These scholarships are substantially funded and include the cost of tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation and internships/field study expenses.
All applications to the Rotary Peace Fellowship program must be made through a Rotary club. Find a local club via the Rotary website.
