Managing your Contributions DBD Members

The rules around contributing to superannuation can be complex and confusing. This seminar aims to take away the confusion and explain the different types of contributions to super. It is suitable for all members and will cover:

  • The types of contributions available and how they are taxed.
  • The contribution caps that apply.
  • Incentives to contribute to super such as the spouse rebate.
  • Ways to manage your contributions.
  • Special rules for some Defined Benefit Division members.

UniSuper Consultant Andrew Syarief is available to assist ACU staff from all campuses with free general advice on understanding their superannuation options.

Consultations are available through virtual meetings via a GoToMeeting webinar link. This option is available to staff in all locations and will enable personalised videoconferencing. Face-to-face meetings are also available at the North Sydney Campus each Friday. These meetings are held in Room 14B, Level 14, Tenison Woods House, 8-20 Napier Street, North Sydney.
