UniSuper are holding a number of webinars and seminars at ACU's Strathfield Campus during the month February, so there are a number of opportunities to learn about strategies to make your superannuation work for you.

Pension options for Defined Benefit members

As a Defined Benefit Division (DBD) member, do you know your pension options? Whether you want investment choice, flexibility in the level of income you receive each year, the ability to make lump sum withdrawals, or nominate your beneficiaries, UniSuper has a pension to suit you.

Managing your contributions

The rules around contributing to superannuation can be complex and confusing. This seminar aims to take away the confusion and explain the different types of contributions to superannuation.

This webinar is suitable for all members and will cover:

  • The types of contributions available and how they are taxed
  • The contribution caps that apply
  • Incentives to contribute to superannuation such as the spouse rebate
  • Ways to manage your contributions
  • Special rules for some Defined Benefit Division members

Financial advisers:

UniSuper has qualified financial advisers available to meet with you for personal appointments to discuss retirement planning and investment strategies, debt management and more. Your first appointment with UniSuper Advice is complimentary. If you choose to proceed, a fixed quote will be provided at the end of the meeting.

Strathfield consultations

Craig Naylor, Financial Adviser from UniSuper Advice, will be available at ACU’s Strathfield campus for face-to-face appointments for personal financial advice on Wednesday 11 February 2015.

Do you have questions about UniSuper options?

A UniSuper consultant is available to assist ACU staff from any campus with free general advice on understanding their superannuation options.

Consultations are available through virtual meetings via a GoToMeeting webinar link for staff in any location, enabling personalised videoconferencing. Face-to-face meetings are also available at the North Sydney campus each Thursday. These meetings are held in Room 14B, Level 14, Tenison Woods House, 8-20 Napier Street, North Sydney.
