Tip of the Week - Mental Health Month

Published: Wednesday 28th September 2016

Mental Health issues affect one in five people in Australia annually. Throughout October, Mental Health Month provides an opportunity for us to focus on our personal mental wellbeing, as well as to consider how we can support others.

The campaign helps to break down any stigma about mental health issues and encourages us to think about how we can support those around us who may be affected.

The message ‘Learn and Grow’ is simple and very important.  It encourages us to learn about mental health, be aware of our thoughts and feelings and proactively support our mental wellbeing.
