Published: Wednesday 9th November 2016

New to ACU or haven’t had chance to attend an induction workshop? Come along to one of the U@ACU sessions being held on your campus in November.

Who is this workshop aimed at?

Attending this workshop is mandatory for all staff to complete as a part of the University’s induction process as per the Staff Induction Policy.

The one-day workshop will cover:

  • The University’s organisational structure, history and strategic direction
  • Catholic Identity and Mission
  • Community engagement at ACU
  • ACU’s Code of Conduct
  • Working at ACU
  • Local campus WHS and EEO information

What will you gain from this workshop?

An understanding of how the University’s Mission relates to your everyday work and your responsibilities as an employee of ACU in relation to Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety and ACU’s Code of Conduct. You will be given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and it is an excellent opportunity to meet other new staff.
