Supporting good mental health
Published: Wednesday 8th October 2014
At ACU we have concern and consideration for the wellbeing of our colleagues and students, which is reflected in the University’s mission, and goes hand-in-hand with the aims of Mental Health Month.
Staff are invited to attend a video conference on October 16 to gain a greater understanding of mental health conditions and how to provide support.
Mental Health Month is a national campaign held each year which centres around World Mental Health Day on 10 October. One in five Australians aged 16-85 will experience a mental illness in any given year, which means this an issue that impacts on most us in some way - either individually, through our loved ones or in our working lives.
