Support program for stroke suffers and carers

Have you had a stroke? Are you caring for someone with a stroke (e.g. spouse/partner/parent)? Do you know family members or friends who might be interested?  Participate in a study in Melbourne.

The Optimal Health Program focuses on identifying people’s strengths, building confidence, learning coping skills and improving stress management. The study involves eight one-hour face to face or telephone sessions, and four questionnaires. 

Participants must be English-speaking adults. Based at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. Reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses is available. Recruiting now.
