Are you looking to employ part time or casual staff on campus? Contact Student Jobs on Campus and let us look after the advertising, sourcing of applicants and collecting of applications for you.
During 2015 over 400 students gained positions on ACU campuses, working alongside ACU professional staff in part time and casual roles. In Semester 1, 2016, we have over 370 student workers. Feedback from ACU’s hiring managers, on the performance of our student workers is overwhelmingly positive. Almost all report on the high level of professionalism, motivation and workplace aptitude that their student workers deliver.
For ACU students, the opportunity to work on campus provides a phenomenal opportunity to develop their workplace skills and contribute to a professional community that is both understanding and supportive of students as workers.
With our students being our greatest asset, employing a student through Student Jobs on Campus supports them in many ways, including opportunities to develop and reflect on their graduate attributes, to engage and contribute in meaningful ways with the university community, and to earn an income.
Furthermore, providing an employment opportunity to a student is a fantastic way for ACU staff members to support the development of ACU students’ graduate employability skills. With Jobs on Campus experience behind them, graduating ACU students can sign up for Career Development workshops that aim to teach them how to use their on campus experience and skills to present as unique and competitive candidates in their graduate job search. Student Jobs on Campus also provides support to students prior to and while working on campus, supporting their career development learning each step of the way.
