Transition to Retirement
The Transition to Retirement (TTR) option is a government initiative which recognizes that members may want to decrease their working hours over time towards the end of their career. It allows members to access their super benefits as an income stream, prior to retirement. Some members use it as an opportunity to boost their super benefits overall or to just ease into retirement.

Managing your Contributions
The rules around contributing to super can be complex and confusing. This seminar aims to take away the confusion and explain the different types of contributions to super.

Women & Super – Bridging the Gap
Research shows that women face unique challenges when it comes to retirement savings. They tend to have less super than men for many different reasons, including career breaks and time out of the workforce to raise families, making it more difficult to build a reasonable amount of super.
This session is suitable for women of all ages who would like to develop a better understanding of financial matters and be more active in managing their retirement savings. The webinar will cover issues such as:
- Understanding the retirement gap and the factors that contribute to it
- Easy and free steps to close the gap
- Ways to boost your super, including taking advantage of government incentives

Do you have questions about UniSuper options?
UniSuper Consultant Andrew Syarief is available to assist ACU staff from all campus with free general advice on understanding their superannuation options.
Consultations are available through virtual meetings via a GoToMeeting webinar link. This option is available to staff in all location and will enable personalised videoconferencing. Face-to-face meetings are also available at the North Sydney Campus each Friday. These meetings are held in Room 14B, Level 14, Tenison Woods House, 8-20 Napier Street, North Sydney.

UniSuper has qualified financial advisers available for personal appointments to discuss retirement planning and investment strategies, debt management and more. Your first appointment with UniSuper Advice is complimentary. If you choose to proceed, a fixed quote will be provided at the end of the meeting.
