Professor Sandy Middleton appointed to NHMRC Research Committee

ACU's Nursing Research Institute Director Professor Sandy Middleton has been appointment by the Federal Health Minister, Sussan Ley, to the prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council Research Committee.
Membership to the committee is awarded to those who demonstrate leadership and extensive experience in various fields of health and medical research.
The committee meets to award grants on the basis of scientific quality as judged by peer-review across the entire spectrum of health and medical research, including public health.
A key function of the Research Committee is to advise and make recommendations to the Council on the application and monitoring of the Medical Research Endowment Account. Research Committee members are appointed for a tenure of three years.
