ACU is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No: 3578) delivering nationally accredited vocational education and training from Certificate III to Diploma level. Courses in Nursing, Education Support, Aged Care, Early Childhood, Fitness, Leadership and Management, TAE, First Aid and CPR are offered in Melbourne, Ballarat and Brisbane.
The Executive Director, ACUcom is responsible for driving the strategic direction of ACUcom. A key focus of this work is on strengthening ACUcom’s position in the vocational education market and building greater alignment between ACUcom and other areas of ACU. The role makes a significant contribution to the broader University Strategic Plan through the provision of advice, support and recommendations to the Provost. The Executive Director will also oversee the effective and efficient delivery of ACUcom operations.
We are seeking an experienced VET leader capable of articulating the strategic direction and vision with ACUcom staff, in the pursuit of high performance. The Executive Director will have an excellent grasp of the vocational education landscape in Australia and a sound appreciation of the demands of advancingACUcom within a complex external environment. Reporting to the Provost, the successful applicant will have a track record of driving vocational education business and enrolments in a competitive environment.
