Australian Catholic University (ACU) in collaboration with Calvary Health Care ACT, is seeking a committed and progressive nursing or allied health professional to provide academic leadership in scholarship and research in Palliative Care.
In this partnering role, you will foster effective relationships between Calvary Health Care ACT and the University to initiate and conduct leading-edge research across disciplines, which is nationally and internationally competitive and of demonstrable value to the research profile of each organisation.
You will encourage a research culture that supports and enhances the capabilities of clinicians, academics and research students and work to proactively attract research and consultancy funds to expand new and significant projects and programs.
To be considered for this role you will have a significant academic profile and capability in higher education including research leadership, teaching and learning in Palliative Care, coupled with a high level of credibility in clinical and Palliative Care research.
As a skilled communicator, you will have proven ability to build and maintain cooperative internal and external relationships and the capacity to innovate and provide leadership in the examination of current trends and evidence-based practice in Palliative Care.
