OHSE accreditation for Peter Faber Business School
Published: Monday 22nd January 2018
The Peter Faber Business School has added a new accreditation to its stable of professional recognition for Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Degrees.
The School has been awarded accreditation of the Masters of Health Safety and Environmental Management and Graduate Diploma for the maximum period of five years from The Australian OHS Education Accreditation Board.
Accreditation has been granted from 2017 to 2021 so that students who completed their course in 2017 will benefit from having their program accredited immediately.
OHS plays an integral role in keeping people healthy and safe at work and is an important qualification for OHSE professionals from frontline safety advisors to line managers and senior executives.
The program is offered fully online through Open Universities Australia and has been extremely successful, growing in enrolments year on year since its introduction in 2011.
Recent graduate Nathan Sewell explains the attraction for OHSE practitioners: “Studying by complete correspondence has given me the flexibility I needed for full-time work and other life commitments. I’ve enjoyed the course, and being guided and challenged by lecturers who have a wealth of OHSE experience and knowledge across numerous industries. I am using the skills and knowledge learned through this course to develop my organisation's national safety record and reputation within its industry.”
