NVivo Workshops – Dr Maureen O’Neill and Sarah Booth

The Faculty of Education and Arts will be hosting two day NVivo workshops in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to assist HDR students and HDR supervisors in how to use this qualitative software to complete literature reviews and an introduction to data analysis.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Introduction to the essentials of completing literature review
  • Using tools in NVivo software to commence your literature review
  • Moving on and looking at entering your data (interviews and focus group transcripts) in NVivo
  • Investigating the tools to use for data analysis in NVivo
  • One on one consultations are offered (required to be pre-booked prior to the workshop)
  • Participants will be provided with workbooks, powerpoints and links to relevant resources, including the handbook “The NVivo Toolkit” on USB
