As part of the brand roll-out, you can now choose to receive a newly branded staff ID card. All new staff and students will be issued cards with the new design, and until the end of July current staff may choose to update their existing cards at no cost.
When ordering your new ID card, you will also have the opportunity to update your staff photograph or keep your current image.
Your card will take approximately up to five working days to arrive at your local campus concierge. Please note that you will experience a temporary loss of building access once your new card has been printed by the National Security Centre (usually within 24 hours of submitting your request), until you can collect your new card.
Once you have collected your new card, all your previous building accesses will have been transferred.
Under ‘What is the nature of your request’ – select 'Security Service’ followed by ‘Modification to access control card’.
Fill in your name, best contact number and email – this is important as this is how your local concierge will notify you when your new card is ready. Please indicate in the ‘additional information field’ that you are submitting a request for a replacement staff card with new branding.
Submit your concierge request. You will receive an email in the minutes following, to confirm your successful submission.
Optional – if you would like to update your photo (rather than keep your current one) please separately email the National Security Centre at firstname.lastname@example.org with your concierge request reference number and a picture that complies with the guidelines below.
No hat, no sunglases
No shadow on face or red eye
No reflection on glasses
Plain, light coloured background
Supported formats – jpg, png and bmp
Size limit – less than 5mb
