New staff ID cards
Published: Tuesday 18th August 2015
Message from Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Corporate Services) Dr Stephen Weller: New ID cards for all staff and students will be rolled out across all ACU campuses over the next few months.
Your new ID Card has many benefits including personalised photo ID, reducing the required number of access cards and fobs to just one card and providing access to multiple buildings across every ACU campus.
As well as building access, the ID card will eventually incorporate services such as:
- Swimming Pool & Gym Access
- Car Park Access
- Canteen/ Café Purchases
- Library Books and Borrowing (primarily for students)
- Afterhours Library Access
- Follow-me Printing.
To get your new card, all you need to do is upload a copy of the photo of you that you would like used on the card.
You do not need to go to a specific location to have it taken and you don’t have to use a photo you dislike!
You simply need to upload one to the Capture Me portal here and Facilities Management will produce the card and send it to you.
Photos must be a head and shoulders shot of you only, facing front to the camera and of good quality. Please upload your photo by Friday 4 September 2015.
I strongly encourage you to obtain your new staff card and take advantage of its many benefits.
Staff in Brisbane, Canberra and Ballarat can receive their cards right now and it will be available across all other campuses over the next few months.
If you have any questions about the new ID card for staff or students, please contact Security and Compliance, Facilities Management Manager Bob Pagett at email@example.com or 02 9465 9060.
