The Institute of Child Protection Studies has released a new report, Foster and kinship carer recruitment and retention: Encouraging and sustaining quality care to improve outcomes for children and young people in care.
This publication reports on the second stage of a three-year project funded by the Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation, which is being implemented by ICPS in partnership with the Australian Foster Care Association. The project aims to identify and disseminate the most effective strategies to attract, support and retain foster care families across all states and territories in Australia.
