New blended learning resources

The newly developed resources are available on the Blending Learning section of the Learning and Teaching webpage, and include:

Further blended learning case studies on engaging students by using live polling and supporting units with large enrolments:

  • Mr Anthony Shearer discusses his use of technology to create an integrated blend between face-to-face and online study modes. He reflects on the tools that particularly suited his teaching style, enabling him to create a sense of community among students.
  • Dr Genevieve Morris discusses the challenges of supporting students in units with large enrolments and with varying levels of knowledge.

The new Blended unit design page which provides resources and guidance about where to start when creating blended units.

The common approaches to blending page gives an overview of the various approaches to blended learning used across ACU, including applications to multi-campus units.

The new technology enhanced assessment page provides introductory advice on integrating technology in assessment.
