New Academic Board

On Friday 27 November, Dr Stephen Weller, issued the results of the recent elections for academic staff faculty representatives for the Academic Board. As a consequence of the announcement of Dr Dermot Nestor as Executive Dean, Faculty Theology and Philosophy, Dr Weller issued an amended Declaration on Tuesday 2 December.

At the Academic Board meeting, Professor Margot Hillel OAM, said that it was really pleasing to see so much interest in the election. She thanked all staff who nominated for positions on the Board and also extended a note of thanks to the outgoing members for their valuable contribution to the University’s academic functioning and promotion of excellence in regard to all aspects of the Board’s work.

Faculty representatives are appointed to the Board for a 2 year term from 1 January 2016. The new representatives are:
