Thanks to recent support from a number of donors, the National Library of Australia is offering new fellowships across a wide range of areas. The fellowships are available to emerging and established researchers, writers, artists and younger scholars in pursuit of their goals, with a range of other awards also on offer throughout the year.
Four of the National Library of Australia Fellowships will be available for research that supports the use of the National Library's collections in any area. Of the additional two available fellowships, one will support the study of Japan, while the other will be for Australian literature.
This new fellowship program has been generously funded, with significantly increased financial assistance than previous awards, and is broader in scope.
Applications are being sought from Australian and international researchers and scholars.
