According to Courting the Blues: Attitudes towards depression in Australian law students and legal practitioners, a joint research paper between the Brain and Mind Institute and the Tristan Jepson Foundation, 46.9% of law students; 55.7% of lawyers and 52.3% of barristers experience depression or anxiety at some time in their career.
Please join Dr Elizabeth Crawford-Spencer in an information session followed by a meditation to demonstrate mindfulness in legal education and practice.
Liz is an Associate Professor of Law in the Thomas More Academy of Law and Course Co-ordinator for the Bachelor of Laws.
