The Mary Glowrey Building

The Official Naming and Blessing of the Mary Glowrey Building on Friday 27 March 2015 by Vice-Chancellor Professor Greg Craven and His Grace, The Most Reverend Denis Hart DD, Archbishop of Melbourne, was the culmination of a number of significant upgrades to ACU's Melbourne Campus offering new and flexible spaces for recreation, conferences, meetings and collaborative learning areas for students, staff and visitors.
New spaces of the Mary Glowrey Building include the interfaith area, bookshop, stair connecting all levels of the building, as well as areas suitable for events and functions.
Revitalised and upgraded areas of the building include the café and reception spaces on the ground and lower ground levels, as well as Levels 3, 4 and 5.
Sustainable lighting and materials have been used throughout the project, further supporting ACU's commitment to reducing its energy consumption and waste.
Current building works include library expansion and new stair adjacent the current lift.
