Lunchtime faith discussion groups - talk with the experts
Published: Monday 24th July 2017
Together with the School of Theology, Campus Ministry have an exciting opportunity coming up for you to be involved in on the Melbourne Campus. Over the four Wednesday evenings of August the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy (FTP) are running a short course on the sacraments. Open to the public the course comprises four lectures which will look at: What are sacraments? What is sacramentality? What do Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist and Reconciliation mean?
At lunchtime on the day after each lecture (1pm on 3, 10, 17, 24 August) academics from FTP and Fiona Bradley from Campus Ministry will run a discussion session on the topic of the previous evening’s lecture to help you unpack what was presented and ask questions of the experts. A light lunch will be provided so all you need to do is come ready for some roundtable discussion.
These exclusive discussion sessions with the lecturers are only available to staff who register their interest in the short course through Campus Ministry.
