Leap into Learning is a series of online modules for students, designed to improve their search, research and evaluation skills. It is a great way for students to develop information literacy skills that will assist them throughout their time at university.
Leap into Learning consists of three modules, covering library and assignment research basics, as well as a module on subject specific academic research. Each module contains a mix of learning activities, instructional videos and podcasts, and can be completed by students at their own pace.
A quiz follows each module, and students must complete the quiz with a score of 100% to be successful. On completion of the modules and quizzes, students are able to print off two completion certificates, as proof they have successfully completed Leap into Learning.
We encourage you to embed Leap into Learning in your academic units, and have your students complete it as part of their studies. Students can self-enroll via LEO.
