About the presenter
Dr John Stephenson is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Statistics, at the University of Huddersfield (School of Human and Health Sciences), joining the University in 2010. Before joining the University he was employed as an engineer for about 10 years in the nuclear industry; initially for the UK Atomic Energy Authority, and subsequently for British Energy. His work involved modelling of bore cracking in nuclear reactor fuel bricks and channel bore characterisation. Dr Stephenson also worked for about five years as a mathematics lecturer in Further Education. He is a Chartered Mathematician (CMath MIMA) and a member of the Royal Statistical Society with Graduate Statistician status (FRSS GradStat).
