Institute of Child Protection Studies Seminar Recording Available

This seminar and panel discussion, 'What I Wish I'd Known: Bridging the divide between research and practice', was held in Canberra on 27 May 2015, focusing on the theories and processes that practitioners have developed during their time as researchers. It featured:

  • Service Connections with Young People and Families: Linking Social Capital, presented by Dr Justin Barker, youth worker and ICPS Research Fellow
  • Lessons from Research with Children and Young People, presented by Debbie Noble-Carr, social worker and ICPS Research Fellow
  • Panel discussion - Implications for Practice: Susan Helyer, Director of ACTCOSS; Dr Justin Barker and Debbie Noble-Carr.
