IHA Professor Ester Cerin Colloquium presentation rescheduled for August.
Published: Monday 4th July 2016
Every month this year, in its Live Long Live Well Colloquium Series, IHA has presented talks from colleagues and collaborators working across a range of disciplines relative to the pursuit of healthy and active ageing.
The month of June saw two presentations from IHA; the first from Dr Jerome Rachele, discussed applying a spatial perspective to transport infrastructure for active living – particularly in the context of policy. Our second presentation came from guest presenter Dr Kristiann Heesch of QUT, who discussed how data from smart phone GPS app Strava has been used to evaluate new transport infrastructure.
This month's July presentation has been rescheduled for August, when IHA's Professor Ester Cerin will bring an international perspective to the discussion of neighbourhood environment and active ageing.
IHA is pleased to invite ACU colleagues to attend Professor Cerin's presentation. All Colloquium presentations are followed by an opportunity for discussion.
