As we approach the summer holiday period and ACU staff prepare to take Christmas leave, now is a an opportune time to remind colleagues that there are a number of charities that accept donations of unused hotel toiletries and redistribute them to shelters, hostels and refuges for those doing it tough, homeless people and victims of domestic violence.
At the end of January the ACU Community Impact Network, in collaboration with ACU Engagement and Campus Ministry, will set up collection points across the campuses and will arrange for these items to be re-distributed. All we ask you to do at this time is to remember to pack the mini shampoos, soaps, toothbrushes etc from the hotel at the end of your stay.
If you would like more information, please feel free to contact Nicole Ranieri, National Manager, Governance (North Sydney) on 02 9465 9151 or Nicole.Ranieri@acu.edu.au
