Exercise for the management of cancer research presentation

The Institute for Health and Ageing's Associate Professor Prue Cormie examines the role of exercise in managing cancer.
The Institute for Health and Ageing’s Associate Professor Prue Cormie will present to colleagues and interested stakeholders on her research into Exercise for the Management of Cancer at ACU’s St Patrick’s Campus on Monday 14 December at 4pm.
Prue's research program seeks to understand the application of exercise as medicine for the management of cancer, and involves the convergence of exercise science, cancer care and innovation in allied health services. She has produced influential research exploring the efficacy of targeted exercise prescriptions in counteracting significant side effects of cancer and cancer treatments. A core component of her work is invested to translating research into practice for meaningful improvements in health care services for people with cancer.
