Excellence, dignity and engagement

Faculty of Health Sciences Executive Dean Professor Michelle Campbell is proud to be launching a Faculty-specific Positioning Statement and Values for FHS staff.
The past few years have seen substantial growth for the Faculty. It has welcomed new schools, new disciplines, and of course new staff. With so much change, it is important to take some time to reevaluate how we work together and how we can best position ourselves for the future.
Earlier this year, a committee was formed with representatives from across the faculty, to develop a new positioning statement and values.
The implementation of the Faculty’s Positioning Statement and Values will support the Faculty by enhancing engagement, increasing levels of workforce participation, broadening the student experience and encouraging positive workplace behaviours.
The Faculty has produced collateral for its staff, to enable them to easily reflect on the Faculty’s mission in their day to day work. A new staff award scheme will also be introduced from 2016, to reward those staff who incorporate the new positioning values in their day-to-day work.
Professor Michelle Campbell, the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences will be launching the Positioning Statement and Values on all campuses:
