Driving Service Excellence
Published: Monday 23rd May 2016
What is excellence in service and what does it mean for you as an academic or professional staff member? Staff have the opportunity to explore this question and develop their leadership skills by registering for a variety of upcoming workshops that will focus on service delivery and processes.
Explore excellence in the ACU context and identify opportunities for improvement by registering for one of the workshops below:
Customer Service Training
Ballarat; Brisbane; Canberra; Melbourne; Strathfield Multiple Dates: 6-23 June
To succeed in our goals, organisations and individuals need to achieve peak levels of performance. This means meeting the expectations and requirements of customers and stakeholders through commitment to quality in service.
Ballarat; Brisbane; Canberra; Melbourne; North Sydney; Strathfield Multiple Dates: 4–26 July
The Lean Fundamentals workshop is designed for professional and academic staff who work in teams that are involved in process or product improvements and would like to learn continuous improvement strategies and techniques. No prior knowledge of Lean is necessary to participate in the session. The workshop will be a useful resource for academic staff who review course curricula or design new courses as it provides simple tools to use the voice of their customers (the students) to inform their teaching practices and processes.
Building Service Excellence
Ballarat; Brisbane; Canberra; Melbourne; North Sydney; Strathfield Multiple Dates: 5 –27 July
These workshops have been designed for academic and professional staff. Service Excellence workshops conducted last year received positive feedback from staff who valued the opportunity to develop and understand service excellence in the ACU context.
