Diabetes risk perception and lifestyle behaviours

Published: Wednesday 25th May 2016

Global diabetes prevalence has reached epidemic proportions and this poses a significant health and economic burden to our society. This study will examine diabetes risk perceptions and motivations underlying healthy behaviours.

If you are over 18 years old and have not been diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes, you are invited to participate in this study.

You will be asked to complete two online questionnaires over a 2-month period. Each questionnaire will not take more than 30 minutes to complete. Participants who complete both questionnaires will be eligible to enter a draw to win Coles or Myer gift cards.

Diabetes is a real threat to our community. Improved understanding of how the community perceives diabetes risks can better target disease prevention and develop better health communication messages for those with elevated risks.

If you would like to take part, please go to the link below to access the questionnaire.
