ACU has been provided with a limited number of free tickets for Camelot for distribution to staff from the North Sydney and Strathfield campuses for selected performances on 18 - 19 August.
This August, one of the world's most loved musicals Lerner & Loewe's Camelot is being staged in a very special season of performances at the Seymour Centre (Sydney).
From the same writers as My Fair Lady, Camelot brings to life all the drama, romance & pageantry of King Arthur, Queen Guenevere and the Knights of the Round Table with this brand new production starring acclaimed stage & TV actor Donald Macdonald as Merlyn alongside a cast & live orchestra of 75 people.
Staged by Sydney based arts association Artes Christi, Camelot also stars Berlin trained tenor Paul McLeod as Arthur, London trained actress Emily Potts as Guenevere and NZ & Australian Opera singer Benjamin Caukwell alongside over 15 current ACU students and graduates who feature in the cast, crew and orchestra.
This production of Camelot is supporting the Ephpheta Centre (Catholic Centre for Deaf & Hard of Hearing People) and the Opening Night performance of Camelot (Fri 18 Aug, 7.30pm) will also be Auslan Interpreted.
