Join an upcoming workshop run by the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) and learn vital presentation skills to engage your audience, persuade and prompt them to take action!

Facilitator Nina Sunday will run a Presentation Skills workshop on 22 August in Brisbane which help you gain insights on the following areas:

  • How to structure your content to deliver a knockout presentation
  • How to avoid 'death by PowerPoint' and be more engaging
  • The art of opening and closing your talk
  • Don’t tell or lecture, engage your audience
  • Using stories to illustrate your point
  • The Load, Aim, Fire technique for fluent delivery
  • Body language – use gestures, stance, position and movement to captivate your audience
  • Vocal Quality – use rhythm, speed, volume, pitch and pause to influence your audience
  • Overcome the jitters by tricking your sub-conscious mind to work for you not against you
  • Know how to handle Q & A and difficult audience members
