ATEM NSW/ACT Regional Conference

Staff are invited to attend the NSW/ACT Regional Conference of the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) to be held at ACU's North Sydney campus on November 26.

Participants will hear from an impressive line-up of speakers, including Paralympic superstar Kurt Fearnley who talk about overcoming adversity,  and Chair of Universities Australia and Vice-Chancellor of Western Sydney university, Professor Barney Glover who will talk about collaboration and Innovation.

The theme of the conference will be 'Collaborations In A Competitive Environment' and the event offers an opportunity for participants to meet their colleagues from throughout the region, and extend their personal networks.

Topics will include:

* Creating Opportunities for Collaboration
* Using Networks to Collaborate
* Cross unit collaboration in the introduction of the Future Workforce Plan
* Collaborations in New Zealand.
