In collaboration with the IT, Timetabling and Properties directorates, phase 1 of the Enhanced ACU Lecture Capture (Echo360 ALP) is now live across ACU campuses.
Which teaching activities are automatically recorded?
At present, the following teaching activity types are automatically recorded:
- Lecture
- Lecture A
- Lecture B
- Lecture C
- Lecture D
- Lecture E
- Lecture Q&A
- Lecture/Tutorial A
- Lecture/Tutorial B
- Lecture/Tutorial C
- Video Conference Lectures
What if your teaching activity type does not fall in the above listed types?
Please note that where your activity type does not fall in the above listed types (which are defined in the Timetabling Procedures), the LIC can manually set up the recording (click here for instructions on manual setup). If a unit is not listed in the Echo360 dropdown list, the LIC should contact their School’s Timetabling Liaison Officer.
Who to contact for assistance?
Should any LIC experience difficulty in accessing their recordings, adding the recording to the specific LEO Unit Site or any other lecture capture related issues, contact the ACU Service Desk. Appropriate mechanisms have been put in place to address these queries, where possible, within 24 hours.
Important note:
On the Canberra Campus, all sessions will be recorded where the number of students is 40 or more, irrespective of activity type (e.g. practical/workshop/lecture, etc.).
