Lindsay is available for virtual meetings via a GoToMeeting webinar link for ACU staff in any location which enables personalised videoconferencing. Webinar - Changes to Deeming Rules for Account-Based Pensions
From 1 January 2015, income from account-based pensions will be assessed in the same way as other financial investments which could affect any entitlement to the Age Pension (or other government benefits). In May’s Federal Budget, the Treasurer announced new deeming rules will also apply to new applicants for the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (not yet legislated). Learn more about how these changes may potentially impact you.

New resource centre for retirement planning
UniSuper has launched a new online resource to help staff at all stages of their working life to set goals, plan ahead and ensure they have adequate finances in their retirement.
Visit the www.unisuper.com.au/reachyourgoals website to use handy tools such as the Retirement adequacy and Pension income calculators, which can help you work out how much annual income you may have in retirement.
Personal financial advisor at Strathfield
Staff at Strathfield campus can make an appointment to meet with a financial advisor to gain advice on their financial situation and consider creating a comprehensive personal financial plan.
Craig Naylor, Financial Adviser from UniSuper Advice, will be available at Strathfield for face-to-face appointments for personal financial advice on Wednesday, 8 October, 2014. Appointments will be held in Room C2.31, 2nd Floor, Clancy Bldg., 25A Barker Road, Strathfield.
