QuickMark export/import

Customised comments you created or sets are are only linked to your user account and regardless of what unit you are teaching in will not be visible to other teaching staff in the same unit.

To share your customised QuickMark sets with others, use the export/import option. The export/import is a 'snap shot' of your comments and sets and will not include any new additional or personalised comments you continue to add.

There are three key steps to share your QuickMark set with others:

1. Export a QuickMark set.

2. Attach the QuickMark set file to an email.

3. Import a QuickMark set to your assignment.

Export QuickMark

  1. Locate the LEO unit with the Turnitin assignment and click on the pencil icon to access GradeMark.
  2. Ensure you are in the QuickMark manager and select the set you wish to share
  3. Click the import/export option
  4. Select Export Set
  5. A file with the extension .qms will be saved to a location on your computer (usually downloads).

Email attachments

You can then attach the .qms file to an email and send a message to relevant staff to import the QuickMark set into a LEO unit for them to utilis. To email a QuickMark set you need to:

1. Open your email and add recipients.

2. Add a message to your email.

3. Attach the QuickMark set saved to a location on your computer with the extension .qms to your email and send.

Email attachments When you receive an email with the attached .qms file, download it to a location on your computer.
