You can embed a Kaltura video into any activity or resource within LEO that uses a Text editor field. Examples of activities and resources into which you can embed Kaltura media include the Label, the Book, and the Quiz.
To embed a Kaltura video into a Text editor field
In your LEO unit, turn editing on, then click the 'Add an activity or resource' link in the section where want to embed the Kaltura resource (or edit an existing resource - skip to step 3).
Choose an activity or resource that includes a text editor field, and click the 'Add' button (a label is a good option if you want the video to appear directly on the unit page).
In the activity settings, click in a text editor field to position the cursor where you want your video to be embedded. It is usually advisable to place embedded videos on their own line, so you can press 'Enter' to make a new line.
Click on the 'Embed Kaltura Media' icon. It is in the top row of icons, on the far right hand side:
The Kaltura Media interface will open in a popup window. From here you are able to search for and select the video stored in your My Media library (you may also upload a new video by clicking the 'Add new' button).
For the video you want to embed, click on the blue 'Select' button to the right of the video and choose the required size of video to add:
On the next screen you will see a preview of your video. Click the 'Embed media' button on the bottom left of the page (Note: the text on this button may be difficult to read):
You will be returned to the text editor field. You will see that your video is listed as a link, rather than a video preview. This code will show the video when viewed by users.
Click 'Save and return to unit'. Your embedded Kaltura content is now embedded in your LEO activity or resource.
