You are able to pause the recording of a lecture at any time in any learning space that has Classroom Capture.
Note: 'Classroom Capture' refers to the software which records lectures predominantly in smaller learning spaces. The recording is done by software installed on the computer in the lectern. All lectures are automatically recorded. In many larger spaces, the recording is done by specialised hardware instead. In these cases, the control to pause and resume will be on the Crestron controller panel. This guide refers to 'Classroom Capture' rooms only - not those larger rooms that have specialised hardware.
Click the Windows Start button.
Type 'Echo360' in the search field.
Echo360 Classroom Capture will appear in the list. Click 'Launch Echo360 Classroom Capture' to open the software.
The Echo360 Classroom Capture window will open.
Click the 'Pause' button.
Echo360 will minimise and will appear in the taskbar.
To RESUME your recording, Right mouse click on the Echo360 icon in the taskbar and click 'Resume'.
Never click the 'Stop' option as this will stop your recording and you will not be able to start it again.
