ACU Learning and Teaching Framework 2014-2017
Six hallmarks of learning at ACU provide the framework for Learning for Life to transform the future direction of learning and teaching at the University:
- Distinctive ACU graduates
- Excellent teaching practices
- Excellent learning experiences
- International, culturally diverse and equitable education
- Research-informed teaching
- Value and reward great teaching
These hallmarks support goals to be implemented across ACU which will ensure the University’s reputation for excellence in learning and teaching.
Wide consultation with academic and professional staff in 2013 and 2014 informed the development of the framework, which will be an enabling plan of the ACU Strategic Plan 2015-20.
Implementation will be managed through the Learning for Life Program Board and the Program Strategies Group. It will be project-focused, and responsibility will be shared across faculties and directorates who share in building and delivering ACU’s learning and teaching culture and environment.
Learning for Life was launched at the 3rd ACU Learning and Teaching Conference on 11 July 2014.
