This project was carried out to respond to Learning for Life Hallmark 5, which states:
Learning for Life Goal 1 - Enrich the learning environment through best practice research-led teaching, with embedded research-informed curriculum. Measurable by evidence, produced by the faculties, of research-informed curriculum and internal and external student survey data.
Learning for Life Goal 2 - Involve outstanding researchers in learning and teaching, and evidence the impact of outstanding research staff in the delivery of the curriculum and supervision of research students. Measureable by evidence of the number of outstanding research staff directly involved in the delivery of the curriculum and supervision of research students as well as internal and external student survey data.
The survey report captures:
How academics inform themselves on the latest research in the area that they are teaching
Activities about how research is brought into the curriculum from a design and delivery perspective and, in part, how the institution is responding to research informed learning and teaching.
