This version of the template came into use on 1 January 2016. We anticipate a change in some parts of this template on 1 January 2017, to accommodate revisions to the federal government's Higher Education Standards Framework.

How to use the template

You can download the template and fill in the fields, or you may be able to  copy and paste any minor updates into a previous version of your unit outline.

Faculties may have created faculty-specific templates. It is the responsibility of the Lecturer in Charge of a unit to check with the Course (Program) Coordinator for any information specific to the course (or program) and Faculty that is to be included in the extended unit outline.

If you do not have an MS Word version of the unit outline from the previous offering, please contact your faculty or school office.
